Betty Wang is a Senior Program Officer of Climate at the Asia Society Policy Institute, where she is actively engaged in amplifying climate actions and fostering strategic partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region. With experience in work on climate diplomacy, U.S.-China climate cooperation, and energy transition, her research focus spans a variety of crucial issues, from increasing countries' net zero commitments to driving the clean energy transition, all aimed at promoting sustainable policies both in the Asia-Pacific and globally.

Prior to this role, she worked as a research intern at ASPI on economic development involving U.S.-China relations, the Belt and Road Initiative, and Asia-Middle East relations. Betty has an MA in International Relations and a BA in Politics and Spanish from New York University.
