The Forgotten Ten Photo Exhibit
VIEW EVENT DETAILSThe Forgotten Ten will showcase selected images from a year and a half of Jacob Maentz's documentary work from various indigenous communities around the Philippines. The exhibition will give an inside and depictive look into the diverse and culturally rich lives of our nation’s often forgotten people, featuring images of their everyday life, culture and traditions.
The exhibit is part of the Katutubong Filipino Project, a long-term initiative to document the slowly disappearing cultural heritage of the Philippine indigenous groups. The project aims to raise awareness about the realities of the IP groups, as well as raise appreciation for their cultural importance.
The exhibit will run from January 10-23, 2014. The Yuchengco Museum is located at RCBC Plaza and is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm.
