DRU AT ANG KUWENTO NG LIMANG KAHARIAN tells the story of Dru, a feisty young girl from a sleepy fishing village, her fantastical adventure, and her struggle to make her way back home. This relatable tale takes its inspiration from both the Mahabharata and Indonesian folklore. This young adult book was written by Indonesian author Clara Ng, and was translated directly into Filipino by Nanoy Rafael.

3PM - NEW HORIZONS: A DISCUSSION ON THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ART. Renata Owen will be joining prominent Filipino graphic designers Dan Matutina and Rommel Joson for a discussion on their journeys as digital artists, and the increasing role of technology in art creation. (Admission to forum: 350 - Regular; 250 - Students & Asia Society Members)
6PM - BOOK LAUNCH. This is the first translation of the book outside of Indonesia. Renata Owen, the book's illustrator, will be present to celebrate the launch and sign copies. She will be joined by Nanoy Rafael, who will take the stage to discuss his work in translating the novel into Filipino. A special guest will also be present to read a short excerpt from the book. (Admission to book launch is free.)
