VIEW EVENT DETAILS
Join Asia Society Philippines on May 23, 4 PM, at Hurtado Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, for the post-election forum “Beyond the Ballot: Breaking Echo Chambers and Mobilizing to Rebuild Trust and Participation ” co-presented with the Ateneo School of Government and CODE NGO.
As the nation reflects on the outcomes and lessons of the recent elections, this forum takes a closer look at the path forward. Together with experts Mr. Eric Alvia, Dr. Robin Garcia, and Atty. Darwin Mariano, we’ll explore how electoral systems, political culture, and civic participation must evolve to increase public engagement and political participation at the local and national levels. From gaining a deeper understanding of electoral engagement to reflecting on political shifts and reimagining public participation in campaign finance, our speakers will offer insights into how we can build a more accountable, inclusive, and participatory democracy. By breaking echo chambers and fostering informed dialogue, we take the first step toward restoring trust and shaping a more resilient political future.
