Semiconductors in the U.S.-China Tech Dispute
On November 2, 2020 Asia Society Northern California hosted a virtual program on the role of semiconductors in the U.S.-China tech dispute featuring a keynote address from Dan Wang, technology analyst at Gavekal Dragonomics. The keynote was followed by a panel discussion with Jimmy Goodrich, vice president of Global Policy at the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA); Derek Scissors, resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI); Willy Shih, Robert and Jane Cizik professor of management practice in business administration at Harvard Business School; and Clete Willems, partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. This event was the fourth of five in the Seeking Truth Through Facts U.S.-China program series from Asia Society Northern California.
