Asia Society members, VIPs, and guests came together for over seven hours of live programming on Thursday, January 13, 2022 for our fourth annual Future of U.S. & China Conference: Seeking Truth Through Facts.
As the eighth and final program of our Seeking Truth Through Facts U.S.-China series, this conference consisted of six panels featuring 23 leading voices across the fields of business, government, technology, academia, and entrepreneurship in the U.S.-China landscape. The day's sessions focused on the current power construct between the U.S. and China, one year into the Biden Administration's policies, the cost of the deteriorating financial relationship between both nations, semiconductors and their impact on the U.S.-China relationship, the role of the business community going forward, and President Xi's implications for China's global ambitions.
