In Search of Perfect Consonance
VIEW EVENT DETAILSAs part of CAAMFest35, ASNC co-presents Ruby Yang's "In Search of Perfect Consonance," a short film that documents the Asian Youth Orchestra. Founded in 1990 when the region faced instability and mounting tensions, the orchestra brought students from various Asian countries together to work cooperatively through music. 25 years later, the Asian Youth Orchesta is still performing. Director Ruby Yang won an Academy Award in 2006 for "The Blood of Yingzhou District," a documentary short film. She has also directed "The Warriors of Qiugang" and "My Voice, My Life."
