Leading investors and business visionaries gather in Silicon Valley to examine progress to date of India’s economic reforms under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Nearly two years since his historic election, Forecast Asia: The Next India attempts to evaluate Modi’s term in office. How has his government fared in its promise to deliver transformative reforms? To what extent has his administration undertaken decisive structural breaks with failed policies of the past?

The event will kick off with a livestream of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s “Make-in-India” address to the Asia Society Policy Institute in New York.

Forecast Asia is an annual program series of the Asia Society. It congregates leading Asia-focused economists, investors, and business visionaries to offer their best projections, debate findings, and engage in strategic thinking about longer-term trends in Asia.
