SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, November 1, 2024 - Asia Society Northern California  hosted private, Groundbreaker executive roundtable conversation with journalist David Barboza. Barboza shared his journey in journalism and delved into his time in China covering the high-level corruption in the Chinese government which was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 2023. He also discussed his continued journalism work through his magazine, The Wire, and his current work  at WireScreen which utilizes data to uncover global business flows and bolster transparency. During the Q&A session, Barboza answered questions on the future of journalism in China, the implication of his stories on corruption, and more questions on his time in China.
