Coorg, Southern India, 1878. As the first girl to be born in the Nachimanda family in over 60 years, spirited Devi is the object of adoration of her entire family. Sarita Mandanna belongs to the stunning landscapes of Coorg, India, the setting of Tiger Hills. Her family history extends for centuries through these hills, famous for their coffee plantations and often described as the "Scotland of India." A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, she holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School and was most recently a private equity investor in NYC before moving to Toronto in 2010. Sarita was picked by The Telegraph as one of the Top 10 New Novelists for 2010. Tiger Hills is her debut novel.
