To celebrate the success of The Hong Kong Jockey Club Presents – Life is Only One: Yoshitomo Nara exhibition, it will be extended for one day on July 27, with free admission and additional docent-led tours scheduled.
An informal lunch reception will be hosted at noon with a special appearance and performance by the National Youth Orchestra of USA created by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute that will be making their Hong Kong debut this summer with pianist Yundi Li. Join us to celebrate the conclusion of the exhibition, and bid sayonara to “Life is Only One: Yoshitomo Nara.”

National Youth Orchestra of USA
Over 110 top young American musicians have been chosen by Carnegie Hall to form the third annual National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA). Virtuoso conductor Charles Dutoit and acclaimed pianist YundiI Li will team up with the outstanding ensemble to perform in New York before embarking on a historic first tour to China this summer. The visit includes performances in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong.
Charles Dutoit, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Conductor Laureate of the Philadelphia Orchestra, is renowned for his polished style in conducting the world’s greatest orchestras and soloists.
