How is China’s ambitious One Belt One Road initiative transforming the region? Asia Society Australia in partnership with National Gallery of Victoria explores the economic and geopolitical impact of BRI in a panel led by Daniel Russel, Vice President, International Security and Diplomacy, Asia Society Policy Institute & former Assistant Secretary of State for Asia and the East Asian and Pacific Affairs.
This event forms part of a series of programs revolving around this year's NGV Melbourne Winter Masterpieces: presenting China’s ancient terracotta warriors alongside an exhibition of new works by one of the world’s most exciting contemporary artists, Cai Guo-Qiang.
The dual presentation of Chinese art and culture past and present - Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality and Cai Guo-Qiang: The Transient Landscape - will be open to guests from 5.15–6.15pm.
