Asia Society @ NGV | Enduring Good: In Conversation With Charles Rockefeller
MELBOURNE 2 August 2018
The National Gallery of Victoria's latest traveling troupe comes from New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The four-month exhibit is being backed by a series of live conversations, performances, dining activations, education exchanges, business forums and community participation that tell the stories behind Melbourne and New York. Asia Society Australia, in partnership with the NGV, hosted a breakfast panel on the changing nature of philanthropy across the two cities.
Ian Potter Foundation CEO Craig Connelly and NGV Associate Director of Fundraising Misha Agzarian were joined live from New York by Asia Society Trustee Charles Rockefeller; Asia Society Vice President of Global Partnerships and Development Christine Davies; and Portland House Foundation's Tara Kenny, to discuss how giving has evolved since the establishment of landmark institutions like MoMa and Asia Society.
Our Arts, Culture and Diversity Programs span across visual art and performance, literature, media, technology, education, and community sectors. These unique partner events examine cultural traditions and expressions, celebrate diversity and multiculturalism, and explore a changing Australian society. Run as both public and member only events, this programming stream offers an exciting way to engage with the work of Asia Society Australia.
This event was hosted in partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria under the Asia Society @ NGV series, in collaboration with MoMA at NGV.
