Maḏayin: Eight Decades of Aboriginal Australian Bark Painting from Yirrkala presents a watershed moment in global art history, offering a rare opportunity for American audiences to experience an evocative and enduring artistic movement curated by Yolŋu knowledge holders from Arnhem Land in Northern Australia.

Madayin is organized by the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection of the University of Virginia in partnership with Buku-Larrŋgay Mulka Centre.
