One of Indonesia's most provocative, cutting-edge artists, Eko Nugroho brought a unique mix of traditional theater elements and modern live theater during three separate performances at Asia Society New York last week. The performances explored Indonesia's Islamic history through a distinctive blend of street art, folk art, multimedia, and more.
