Last week, Michelin-starred chef and restauranteur Vikas Khanna visited Asia Society and discussed his personal journey from a penniless immigrant from India to a successful Manhattan restaurant owner and celebrity chef. This journey is documented in a new film titled Buried Seeds, directed by Andrei Severny, which is based on a book by the same name. Khanna was joined onstage by Severny and Asia Society's Executive Vice President Tom Nagorski, who moderated the conversation.
