One of the oldest and most influential forms of Chinese opera, the troupe brings 20 performers to New York for three special performances.
These programs are made possible, in part, by generous support from the Ministry of Culture, People's Republic of China.
The Lanke Mountain

The story followings the heroine Cui, who divorces and then attempts to return to her husband. It is acted with an abandon, rarely seen in Kunqu performances, which are generally marked by subtlety and restraint.
