In its second annual iteration, Asia in America: Next Generation celebrated Asian and Asian American creative excellence on a gorgeous spring evening on the Upper East Side. Guests gathered in Asia Society's twinkling Garden Court Café, decorated in the style of a night market, to toast the guests of honor: actress and producer Devika Bhise, artist and creative director Kenzo Digital, and cultural entrepreneur Danielle Chang. After feasting on street food-inspired bites curated by Chang's LUCKYRICE lifestyle brand, guests joined in on a Rémy Martin toast and decamped for upstairs, where acclaimed "Slaysian" party crew Bubble_T turned the penthouse at 725 Park Ave. into a glittering dance club. The Rémy flowed freely as attendees danced to the musical stylings of DJs Stevie Huynh and Karlo Bueno Bello, witnessed an arresting performance by Mahal Kita, and slowly decamped into the warm night.
