Photos: Opening Celebration of 'No Limits: Zao Wou-Ki'
Last night, Asia Society celebrated the opening of Asia Society Museum's fall 2016 exhibition No Limits: Zao Wou-Ki. Guests gathered for an evening of live jazz music from Teresa Lee, fusion food including a dessert from award-winning French chef David Bouley, and an exclusive opportunity to view the exhibition before its opening to the public. The celebration brought together exhibition supporters including the acclaimed architect I.M. Pei, a close friend of Zao Wou-Ki's, as well as the late artist's surviving family members.
No Limits: Zao Wou-Ki is organized by Asia Society Museum of New York and the Colby College Museum of Art in Waterville, Maine. The exhibition is co-curated by Melissa Walt and Ankeney Weitz of Colby College, and Michelle Yun, Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at Asia Society, and will be on view at Asia Society Museum, New York, from September 9, 2016, to January 8, 2017.
