An Evening of Odissi and Bharata Natyam with Madhavi Mudgal and Leela Samson
NEW YORK, October 1, 2013 — Renowned Indian classical choreographers/dancers Madhavi Mudgal and Leela Samson came together on stage to share their experiences of Odissi and Bharata Natyam, respectively. Following their performances/demonstrations, Mugdal and Samson were engaged in discussion by choreographer/dancer Rajika Puri.
This program was part of the Anubhav series, the main purpose of which is to experience various dance forms through lecture/demonstrations, workshops and dialogues by legendary dance personalities from India. (Anubhav means "an experience" in Hindi.)
