NEW YORK, September 24, 2012 — Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr spoke at the Pierre Hotel here in an event co-hosted by the Economic Club of New York and the Asia Society. He spoke on the strengths of the Australian economy, and the challenges ahead in Asia, as well as Australia's relationship with the United States. He then took questions from members of the audience.
