Inspired by Iran Modern: Work by New York City Students
Inspired by Iran Modern is part of a series of exhibitions that presents the work of New York City students created in response to the great artistic traditions of Asia. This year the exhibition presents student artwork inspired by the Asia Society fall 2013 exhibition Iran Modern. By displaying these fresh interpretations of Asian arts, we hope to encourage other young visitors to exercise their creativity.
Organized by Asia Society Museum in collaboration with Studio in a School
Studio in a School is a model not-for-profit organization that has worked in New York City more than 36 years to improve and support quality visual arts education both in and outside of schools. Founded in 1977, Studio has grown to serve almost 30,000 students yearly throughout all five boroughs.
