Join us in welcoming the Persian New Year at our Nowruz Family Day on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 1 - 4 p.m. Celebrate the start of Spring and learn about Nowruz with interactive workshops, music, crafts, storytelling and more. Don't forget to enjoy Persian sweets and savories at the Leo Cafe.
Spring Into Nowruz is an Asia Society Family Day co-presented with Pardis for Children.
A ticket to this program provides free entry to our latest exhibition (Re)Generations: Rina Banerjee, Byron Kim, and Howardena Pindell amid the Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection.

Toranj and the Magic Garden
As Nowruz approaches, Toranj is saddened to learn that Grandmother will not be hosting the family’s celebration this year. That night, she dreams of an enchanted garden where Iranian festivities come to life, taking her on a magical journey through tradition, memory, and renewal.

Pardis for Children

Pardis for Children was founded in 2011 to give Iranian and Iranian American families—and the public—a place for their children to learn about and enjoy Iranian culture, while also forming supportive relationships and communities. Through classes and workshops, events, and educational materials, Pardis for Children fosters love and knowledge of Persian language and Iranian culture.
