Join us in welcoming the Year of the Snake at Asia Society's 2025 Lunar New Year Family Day program! On Saturday, January 25, come watch exciting lion dances and martial arts demonstrations, learn some fun New Year's music, and enjoy some Year of the Snake-themed arts and crafts! Don't forget to enjoy special Lunar New Year snacks at the Leo Cafe.

Performances/Auditorium:
1: 15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Lion Dances and Martial Arts
Starting in the Asia Society Visitor Center (Lobby) and leading into the Lila-Acheson Wallace Auditorium
Join us for an exciting Lion Dance and interactive Kung Fu demonstration by the Bo Law Kung Fu martial arts school.
2:15 p.m. "A Musical Journey to China": Interactive Music Program
Lila-Acheson Wallace Auditorium
"A Musical Journey to China" is an instrumental music program full of fun learning about Chinese music and culture. Sun Li performing on pipa (lute) and Wu Liang on dizi (bamboo flute), jinghu (Beijing opera fiddle) join Susan Cheng in an interactive program with the audience to ring in the Year of the Snake. Organized by Music from China.

Foster your creativity through an afternoon of Year of the Snake-themed arts and crafts! Activities include clay snake-charm making, face-painting, paper snake-making and temporary tattoos.
