Tishani Doshi is an award-winning poet and novelist. Her previous works include her debut novel, The Pleasure Seekers, which was longlisted for the Orange Prize and the International IMPAC Dublin Award.
Salman Rushdie’s most recent novel Quichotte was shortlisted for this year's Booker Prize. He is the author of 13 previous novels, including Midnight's Children (for which he won the Booker Prize and the Best of the Booker), Shame, The Satanic Verses, Haroun, and The Sea of Stories, as well as four works of nonfiction. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and a Distinguished Writer in Residence at New York University.
