Celebrate the Year of the Snake
Asia Society rings in the Year of the Snake with performances and traditional craft activities inspired by Lunar New Year traditions across Asia. Don’t miss an auspicious Lion Dance, a Kung Fu demonstration and much more!

Little Dragons with Shanghai Restoration Project
1:15-2:00 PM
Come celebrate Chinese New Year at the Asia Society in song! Producer Dave Liang from the electronic group The Shanghai Restoration Project and jazz singer Zhang Le host an interactive workshop teaching classic Chinese children's songs from their renowned release: Little Dragon Tales. Appropriate for kids and parents of all ages!
Bo Law Kung Fu
Lion Dance and Kung Fu demonstration
2:30-3:00 PM
New York Bo Law Kung-Fu martial arts school presents a traditional Lion Dance followed by an interactive Kung Fu demonstration.
Korean music and dance
3:15-4:00 PM
Songhee Lee of the Korean Performing Arts Center will present Korean dancing and hand drumming.
