Asia Society’s 2023 Asian Corporate Survey Awards Gala is an exciting biannual gathering of AAPI leaders and professionals, senior business executives, DEI and belonging experts and practitioners, and allies all coming together as we bestow awards “live” to U.S. based companies recognizing their outstanding commitment to supporting the advancement of AAPI talent in the workplace. Hosted by Martin Tan, CEO of The Majurity Trust, a philanthropic organization that works with donors and charities to build a thriving and sustainable community for all in Singapore, this will be one evening to remember!
Beginning with a networking cocktail reception with light bites in Asia Society’s Garden Court Café, guests will then be escorted to the 8th Floor Penthouse for a special discussion and seated dinner. Prior to the Awards program, we will host an intimate and insightful discussion with Anjula Acharia, entrepreneur, philanthropist, pop culture enthusiast, angel investor/advisor, celebrity manager and who was named on Billboard’s ‘International Power Players’ List, and Prabal Gurung, celebrated Singapore–born Nepalese–American fashion designer based here in New York City who is a strong advocate for belonging and inclusion. Both will share their personal journeys, how they overcame challenges and will share their thoughts on the important responsibility all people in positions of influence play in building bridges between communities, and supporting diversity, equity, inclusion and a just society for all.
The biennial Asian Corporate Survey is a national benchmarking study that explores how U.S. based companies are engaging and supporting the development of AAPI talent. The 2023 narrative, analytical report, based on collective corporate submissions, will be publicly released at the conclusion of the Awards Gala.
Registration for the Awards Gala reception and seated dinner is included with sponsorship.
