Thursday, October 17 – Asia Society Policy Institute has released the U.S.-China Climate Cooperation Timeline, a unique interactive tool that enables users to delve into the history of U.S.-China climate cooperation over the past 30 years through engaging visualizations and insightful analysis. It showcases key agreements, influential policymakers, significant events, and major policy developments from both nations. The interactive timeline not only chronicles the history of U.S.-China climate relations but also sheds light on the critical milestones that have advanced international climate initiatives. By understanding the depth and progression of this bilateral cooperation, we can better appreciate its impact on global environmental policies.

"From the establishment of the U.S.-China Forum on Environment and Development in 1997 to the most recent bilateral commitments under John Podesta and Liu Zhenmin, this partnership has continuously evolved in response to political changes.
