  • Support sustainable development that aligns with international best practices.
  • Actively improve international cooperation with other countries, international organizations, multinational companies, and international financial institutions (IFIs).
  • Work with host countries' governments on green development as well as associated planning, policy measures, and key projects. 
Key Points on Stakeholder Engagement

Contractors should:

  • Fulfill their local responsibilities and integrate into the local society. 
  • Respect local customs and traditions.
  • Promote local employment.

 

The Chinese Government should:

  • Promote economic and social development of local people in host countries.
