Yen-Ting "Eddy" Lin currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Youth Advisory Committee of the Taiwan Executive Yuan (Cabinet). He also leads Amazon’s policy strategy and government affairs in Taiwan. Previously, he served on Meta’s Public Policy team, where he advanced metaverse and AI initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. Eddy co-founded and served as Managing Director of the Taiwan Youth Association for Democracy. He directed various initiatives, including fundraising to support youth participation in elections, crafting the Youth Policy White Paper, and leading the “Civil Rights for 18” campaign to lower the voting age, which resulted in Taiwan’s first-ever constitutional amendment referendum. In 2024, Eddy was selected as an Asia 21 Next Generation Fellow by the Asia Society and named an Obama Asia-Pacific Leader by the Obama Foundation. Eddy holds an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.A. in Journalism from the National Taiwan University (NTU), where his thesis examined the boundaries of free speech in the social media era. He also earned an LL.B. from NTU, serving as the 30th President of the NTU Student Association."
