NEW YORK — KPMG was named overall best employer for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) at Asia Society’s 2023 Asia Corporate Survey Awards Gala Awards on Wednesday evening, in a ceremony that also honored the professional services firm with an award for being the best employer for AAPI recruitment and selection. 

The awards, which are facilitated by Asia Society's Diversity Leadership Initiatives, were part of the organization's Global Talent, Diversity and Inclusion Symposium, now in its 15th year. Other award winners include:

Medtronic: Best Employer for Supporting AAPI Employees’ Belonging and Inclusion; Best Employer for AAPI Employee Growth and Advancement

Chevron: Best Employer for AAPI Employee Resource Groups

Goldman Sachs: Best Employer for AAPI Employee Retention

Citi: Best Employer for LGBTQ+ and AAPI Employees; Best Employer for Marketing to AAPI Consumers and Investors

Equinix: Best Employer for LGBTQ+ and AAPI Employees
