Goldman Sachs was named overall best employer of Asian Pacific Americans at Asia Society’s 2018 Best Asian Pacific American (APA) Employer Awards on Wednesday evening, in a ceremony that also honored the investment bank with an award for being the best employer for Asian Pacific Americans to develop workplace skills.
"We believe we perform at our best when we foster an environment that maximizes the potential of all of our people and reflects the communities and cultures in which we operate," Suzzanne Yao, co-head of the Asian Professionals Network at Goldman Sachs, said in a statement.
The awards, which are facilitated by Asia Society's Global Talent Initiatives, were part of the organization's two-day Diversity & Marketing Leadership Summit. Other award winners include:
