Mr. Wonjae Lee launched a new think tank 'LAB2050' in 2018 and took its CEO position where he researches and proposes policy alternatives to enhance social innovation and technology innovation together. He currently serves as a member of the Presidential Committee on Aging Society and Population Policy in the Korean government. He is also a director in charge of planning at the Yeosijae Future Consensus Institute. He regularly writes columns to comment on social and economic affairs. Formerly, he served as the president of the Hope Institute, an independent think tank for social innovation. He also founded Hankyoreh Economic Research Institute, and worked as a researcher at Samsung Economic Research Institute and as an economic journalist at Hankyoreh Newspaper. He earned a BA in Economics at Yonsei University and an MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management.
