A division of Asia Society India Centre
About
The Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) New Delhi, a division of Asia Society India Centre, is a think-and-do tank designed to bring about changes that incorporate the best ideas from top experts in Asia and to work with policymakers to integrate these ideas and put them into practice. To advance inclusive and effective policymaking for Asia and the world, ASPI Delhi presents an array of perspectives on modern Asia and cultivates nuanced geopolitical and strategic understandings of the Indo-Pacific region. With ASPI’s global network spread across the United States, France, Australia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, and Switzerland, the India chapter has been established as a bridging link to exchange ideas with ASPI’s global network and partners.
Our Aim
ASPI Delhi aims to engage in policy initiatives where the challenge is carefully defined, a timeline clearly established, and possible solutions are prepared for policymakers and civic and corporate leaders. It also practices public diplomacy by convening significant thought leaders from across Asia, the United States, Europe, Africa, and Latin America to focus on the specific regional and global impacts of a rising Asia and leverages its platform to disseminate to regional and global audiences’ policy-relevant information about the various countries of Asia and the United States. ASPI Delhi presents an array of perspectives on modern Asia, cultivating nuanced understandings of Asia-Pacific affairs through diverse programming like public lectures, policy roundtables, and research.
