Arts Committee Breakfast Series #3 |Panel Discussion – “How do you Make It in Today’s Art World"
VIEW EVENT DETAILSIn an effort to build a new discussion platform for arts, the Asia Society Japan Center Arts Committee bring to you a panel discussion on April 24, Wed.
The panel discussion will be led by Chris Wells, co-chair of the Arts Committee to understand what challenges young artists today are facing to making it as an artist.
Hear directly what young artists challenges are as well as what young gallerist are doing and to hear about art how the market in Asia and in Japan from their eyes. On the panel are: Jenny Blumenfield who is a LA based visual artists, Yurina Roche working in a Hong Kong gallery will give us her view point from the gallery side and Masako Shiba of Asia Arts Council will also join the panel. Get the inside scoop of what up and coming artists are thinking, how they interact with collectors and what they think the art market is doing especially with the technology that is now available.
