Asia Society Japan Partners With International House of Japan
Asia Society Japan and the International House of Japan signed a memorandum of understanding at the International House of Japan on Friday, March 30, 2018. The partnership will involve collaboration in terms of programming, and office space for a first-ever Asia Society center in Japan.
The partnership was signed by International House of Japan Chairman Akashi Yasushi, Asia Society Trustee Charles Rockefeller, and Asia Society Executive Vice President Tom Nagorski.
The International House of Japan and Asia Society have a shared history; both institutions were founded by John D. Rockefeller 3rd in the 1950s, and both institutions hold the same ideals of promoting an international dialogue across cultures, and building deeper understanding of the world through the fields of arts, culture, education, business and policy.
