Roshan Paul (Class of 2018)
Roshan Paul co-founded Amani Institute in 2011 as a response to the shortage of leaders in the social sector. The aim and mission of the institute have been to develop professionals who create social impact through new models of education and training to develop the practical skills and experiences for long-term career success.
Paul has a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and has guest lectured at over fifty universities and institutions like Georgetown, the World Bank, and Harvard. He has been an awardee of the Leadership in Education award by the World Education Congress & has served a term on the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Future Council on Behavioral Science.
His writings have been published extensively in Forbes, India Today, MIT’s Innovations Journal, India Development Review, and the Stanford Social Innovation Review. He has also authored two books- ‘Such a Lot of World’- a novel, and ‘Your Work Begins at No’ -a collection of essays on the social impact of education.
Roshan has also delivered TEDx talks at the TEDxBangaloreSalon and the TEDxAmsterdamEd.
