T.N. Ninan is the Chairman of Business Standard Limited and author of 'The Turn of the Tortoise: The Challenge and Promise of India's Future'. From 1986, he has been successively the executive editor of India Today, the editor of The Economic Times and of Business World, and most recently of Business Standard, where he has been the company chairman since 2009. He writes a widely-read Saturday column in Business Standard called 'Weekend Ruminations' that has a dedicated following. He serves on the boards of not-profit organisations, including one that supports public spirited journalism.
Ridham Desai is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley. He heads the Indian Equity Research team which is one the top ranked teams in India. He is also India's top ranked equity market strategist. He has been consistently ranked among the top research analysts in the country over a career spanning two decades. He joined Morgan Stanley in 1997 and has represented Morgan Stanley in several public debates on the equity market and the economy. Ridham has a Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering and a Master's degree in Financial management, both from the University of Mumbai.
Latha Venkatesh is the Banking and Commodities Editor of CNBC-TV18. She began her career in CNBC-TV18 as chief of the Mumbai News Bureau, she has come to be recognized as one of the keenest watchers of the Reserve Bank of India and a respected commentator on banking sector issues, money markets and macroeconomic trends. She has also had stints in all major streams of media having worked in Economic Times and Dow Jones newswires for five years each. Venkatesh graduated in Economics and Politics and has a doctoral degree in Political Science.
