Local CBIRC Offices must:

  • Facilitate financiers' investigations into developers’ and contractors’ environmental and social risks.

 

CBIRC could:

  • Launch a dedicated inspection for regions and financiers exposed to high risks. 

 

Financiers should:

  • Focus on developers’ and contractors’ performance regarding energy saving, emissions reduction, environmental protection, clean production, work safety, and social impacts. 
  • Improve due diligence before lending, reviews of requirements during lending, and examinations of implementation after lending.

 

Financiers must: 

  • Work with companies to rectify problems and violations revealed through inspections.
