HONG KONG, March 8, 2017 – This evening of special performances and artworks with book presentation coincided with the celebration of International Women’s Day. Supported by the Asian Cultural Council, the evening featured six amazing women in the arts who were recipients of the Asian Cultural Council fellowship, and featured in the book Creating Across Cultures: Women in the Arts from China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, written and edited by Michelle Vosper. The evening commenced with a performance by choreographer and musician Pisui Ciyo, followed by modern dance performance by Mui Cheuk Yin. Visual artists Choi Yan Chi and Jaffa Laam presented their artwork next, with a virtuosic performance by guqin master Wu Na afterwards. (58 min., 6 sec.)
