Themes of Entry:
Joy of Art: Inspired by Irene Chou
Irene Chou began as “Sunday painter”, a leisurely activity beyond the chores of a housewife. Like many people, she experienced frustration and disappointment from her daily life. Painting became the channel for her to release her negative emotions. Chou’s paintings are bold, spontaneous, and adventurous. Her emotions and energy are transferred onto her ink and paper.
How would you use art to express your emotion? What kind of joy does Art bring to you? Let’s get inspiration from Chou’s art and create an artwork to express your inner world.
