We are pleased to present on-the-ground public health experts and internationally renowned specialists with the latest facts and evidence-based findings regarding this epidemic outbreak. Dr. Wilson Lam is a Specialist in Infectious Disease and Physician of Infectious Diseases at Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong. He has been a clinician at the HIV Clinical Service of Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong since 2002. Dr. Lam is an Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the LKS Faculty of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong and Honorary Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was Program Director of the Specialty Board in Infectious Diseases of the Hong Kong College of Physicians from 2015 to 2019. Dr. Lam was also a Principal Investigator of the TREAT Asia from 2010 to 2019. He is serving on the councils of Hong Kong Society for HIV Medicine and Hong Kong Society for Infectious Diseases. Dr. Lam has been an Executive Board Member of the Hong Kong AIDS Foundation since 2018. He experienced the 2003 SARS outbreak as a frontline doctor in a public hospital in Hong Kong and subsequently dedicated most of his career to clinical management of various viral infections, including HIV, hepatitis viruses, cytomegalovirus, etc. Dr. Lam received his undergraduate medical degree at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and obtained membership from the Royal Colleges of Physicians in 2002 and fellowship from the Hong Kong College of Physicians and Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, with dual accreditation in Advanced Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease in 2006.
