Workshop starts at 2:00PM
Workshop ends at 5:00PM
Designed for children aged 4 to 12, family workshops provide creative, hands-on opportunities for children to explore the gallery with their parents or caregivers. Available as a weekly Sunday afternoon program each family workshop will be led by an experienced museum educator and is designed around a specific theme related to the No Country exhibition.
The afternoon begins with a theme-specific interactive gallery tour. Children will get to explore different heroic figures in the gallery. Drawing inspirations from artists' representation of figures, the workshop encourages children to create their own superhero with their families. Do your kids want to be a superhero? It will surely be a dream-come-true for them (and may be to parents, too) in the interactive photo taking session. All participants are welcomed to dress up as their favorite superhero.
The workshop will be followed by a site tour of Asia Society Hong Kong Center, home of the Former Explosives Magazines and a unique heritage site of Hong Kong. Crafted as an opportunity for quality family time, the workshops encourage dialogues in families and nurture creativity in children and adults alike.
