親子瑜伽 Family Yoga with Karen Lam of Iyengar Yoga Association of Hong Kong

Children of age 8 or above can join this 1-hour fun and playful yoga session with their parents or relatives. Through partner yoga and spotted poses, participants will experience body stretch, balance and flexibility exercises. Then they can improve their physical postures and understand their children’s needs. The class requires each participant to assist and help each other. Fun yoga interactions would foster better communication and understanding between adults and children.
Bringing yoga to children at an early age helps one to practise on their physical body initially, but with interesting breathing techniques, children may improve their respiratory system and bring calmness to their mental body. When children can be made aware of their breaths, they tend to be calmer and more focused; and they can sleep better too. Let’s get ready to play and laugh doing Family Yoga the Iyengar Way. The session will be led by Karen Lam and Aishah Jantan. They will be assisted by Rhonda Yung, Cary Au Yeung & Wen Wen Zheng.
八歲以上的孩子可以跟父母或親友參加這一個小時靈活而有趣的瑜伽課堂。
課堂包括伸展運動、身體的平衡與靈活性的強化,以雙人瑜伽和互動的方式,有效調整體態及瞭解孩子的身心發展。在課程進行當中,每人予以適時的協助和支持,促進大家的溝通及回應彼此的需要,讓感情更融洽親密。
爸媽、親友與孩子一同練習瑜伽,除了能藉由正確安全且有效的瑜伽伸展及互動遊戲,也能透過許多有趣的呼吸遊戲,藉此改善呼吸道過敏現象。而在練習呼吸的過程中,大腦會逐漸恢復冷靜。因此,對呼吸能保持充分覺知的孩子,也往往擁有穩定的心性及情緒,提升專注力與睡眠質數。

香港艾楊格瑜伽協會簡介
香港艾楊格瑜伽協會於2012年開始籌備,至2014年5月正式成立及註冊為以會員為本的有限公司。協會架構根據「普那拉瑪瑪妮艾揚格瑜伽教學紀念學院」之「普那章程」,再配合本地「公司法」的要求而成立,現有超過一百個會員,由會員選出其中十多位會員,以「不授薪」或自願性質,分擔不同會務。協會目標以推廣及修練艾楊格瑜伽為本,延伸至服務艾式瑜伽修練者相關的導師考核、培訓、舉辦總院老師的硏習大會,安排到總院上課及收發總院最新的資訊。
近年 ,協會會員及導師人數相應增加,協會于2018年中成立一社區推廣小組,統籌及安排艾式瑜伽至不同社羣,希望可以和不同的慈善團體合作,令一些想了解瑜伽或基於不同原因無法接觸瑜伽的人,能開始嘗嘗練習瑜伽,尤其是艾式瑜伽的好處。
本會認證老師都有最少六年學習加三到四年的導師培訓才可以成為合資格的艾楊格瑜伽老師。
