Mindful Wing Chun with Rey Estanislao

Rey Estanislao’s Kung Fu journey started in 2004 at Sifu Jim Fung’s Wing Chun Academy, Sydney Australia. He has continued to dedicate his time to training throughout the years, embodying the essence of Wing Chun principles in his daily life. As head instructor for the kids’ program, his fun and enjoyable teaching style cultivated a love for Wing Chun within many children.
Integrating a mindfulness practice into martial arts is a unique way to bridge the gap for students to work with 'present moment awareness' whilst gaining streetwise self-defense skills. Mindful Wing Chun hands back the power of self-awareness so we are better able to regulate emotional states, focus on one thing at a time for sustained periods, be self-disciplined, communicate respectfully and maintain healthy lifestyle choices like choosing to have good postures and eat the right foods.
Learn progressive Wing Chun self-defense techniques, technical partner pad-work, balance and core strength exercises, and fun/competitive team-based exercises and drills with Rey on June 24!
Yogic Sleep with Singing Bowls with Rosalie e’Silva

Hit the pause button and relax with this guided meditation accompanied by the sounds of singing bowls. The meditation is based on yoga nidra or yogic sleep. Your body relaxes, whilst you keep your mind awake and alert. In this highly receptive state, you let go of any tension, blocks and anything else that no longer serves you. Expect to emerge from the session feeling clearer, lighter and completely relaxed. You'll be lying down for the whole session, so you many want to bring a blanket and something to cover your eyes. You'll want to be as comfy and cozy as possible!
