About Macarons
A macaron is a sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring. Records show that it has been produced in the Venetian monasteries since the 8th Century A.D. However, it is not until 1930s that the macarons began to be served two-by-two with the addition of jams, liquers, and spices. The macaron as it is known today, composed of two almond meringue discs filled with a layer of buttercream, jam or ganache filling. It became trendy globally in the last 10 years.

Culinary instructor – Ms. Anita Ng “Little Miss Macarons”
With a recipe found on internet, Anita baked her first batch of macarons in her cozy kitchen at home eight years ago. After perfecting her recipe for five years, she started Little Miss Macarons with her husband, where they do wholesale, corporate and private events. And they recently started having their own kitchen studio at Kwun Tong.
Now they are frequently engaged by luxury brands to support their corporate functions and also customizing their macarons to meet the needs of creating the dream sweets for wedding ceremonies or birthday celebrations.
