Based on the Eastern aesthetics and philosophy, Lin Lee-chen has developed her own dance language and training method. The training starts from the central axis and the six-character mantra (calm, settle, relax, ground, slow, and power), and involves the integration of body and mind. Poetry in Motion provides an inside look at the world of Legend Lin Dance Theatre.

無垢舞蹈劇場從發展、實驗而成熟的無垢技巧，在舞蹈領域中，已經成為獨一無二的訓練方式。《緩行中的漫舞》，觀眾將藉由近距離觀賞演出，以及親身體驗無垢藝術總監林麗珍老師獨創發展出的訓練方式，達到動靜皆宜的內化自在。
 

Legend Lin Dance Theatre established in 1995 by famous choreographer Lin Lee-chen, the company is known for its meditative and ritualistic productions, and has performed all over the world and received critical acclaim. The many venues and festivals they has performed including Festival d’Avignon, Biennale de la Danse de Lyon, Theatre National de Chaillot, Chekov International Theatre Festival, Festival International Cervantino at Gunajuato, Hong Kong World Culture Festival, World Theatre Festival Shizuoka under Mt. Fuji, and DANSE DANSE Festival.

無垢舞蹈劇場創立於1995年，取名自一種極為高貴的純白絲帛——「白無垢」。在藝術總監林麗珍的帶領下，始終勤勉於其「定、靜、鬆、沉、緩、勁」的舞蹈功法、講究「動如不動，不動如動」的肢體語彙。這樣根源於台灣本土的獨特美學，二十五年來僅慎重製作了《醮》、《花神祭》、《觀》與《潮》四部和靈性生命互相觀照的作品，皆以最純淨的肢體語言，展露深沉撼人的能量，屢次受邀至法、德、西、義、俄、日、加等國家演出，在世界舞台上綻放光彩。

Born in Taiwan in 1950, Lin Lee-chen is a graduate of the Department of Dance at Chinese Culture University. Lin attracted attention among the artistic circle after garnering national awards for five consecutive years and had an enormous influence on dance and theater productions in Taiwan.

In 2002, Lin was named among the eight most significant choreographers in the world by ARTE, one of the most important art and culture television channels in Europe, being the only representative originated from Asia. With inspiration by the Taiwanese local religious rituals and ceremonial rites celebrating the rhythms of nature and our place in it, Lin received Taiwan's most prestigious award for arts in 2005 even she is not beholden to any overseas schools.

林麗珍出生於臺灣基隆，畢業於中國文化學院舞蹈科。早期曾因奪得多項獎項已博得「台灣舞蹈界編舞奇才」的美名，近年更屢獲國際肯定。2002年歐洲最重要的文化藝術電台arte遴選當今世界最具代表性的八位編舞家，林麗珍為其中唯一出身亞洲的編舞家。2005年繼以其「未曾師承任何外國舞蹈流派，卻能以自身的生命歷練，融合藝術與心靈的諦思反省，發展出沉緩細緻的東方身體美學與豐采凝斂的舞台視覺，展現道地台灣孕育衍生的藝術生命力」為由，獲頒國家文藝獎。
