Family’s Arts Workshop with DYLAN KWOK
Venue: National Design Centre, 111 Middle Road, Singapore 188969
Suitable for children aged 6 – 12 with their parents
Reflecting on how humans lived in the wild thousands of years ago to modern day urbanites assisted by rapid technological advancement, participants at this workshop will re-think what minimal living is by appreciating their physical and tangible surroundings. During the workshop, they will be asked to imagine themselves micrified, then build a house with one window only and to live in it. Participants will walk around National Design Centre to find a location with the best scenery for the window in their house. The workshop will encourage participants to pay attention again to neither the Internet nor their smartphones but the environment in which they live in. This workshop offered to children aged 6 – 12 with their parents.
