VIEW EVENT DETAILSTECHSTYLE Series
TECHSTYLE Series is a unique multi-layered platform consisting of a video art exhibition, a discussion forum, broadcasting and archiving that intends to exchange knowledge, ideas and techniques regarding various agendas surrounding textile today. We will spotlight the subject of women and technology for our inaugural TECHSTYLE Series. Taking hands to evolve together, historically, women have been significant producers as well as consumers in textile industry. TECHSTYLE aims to listen to plural voices about contemporary social inquiries that relate to textiles. Leading international artists, academics, designers and critics of different generations are invited to share their wisdoms in science, technology, history, sociology and arts to engage with the future together with us.
