Once upon a time, many storytellers, writers, and educators gathered at Asia Society Hong Kong Center to share their stories, and members of the community of all different ages gathered closely to listen to the tales and learn from them.
Now, sponsored by Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, ASHK is hosting the Creative Storytelling Open Call, which invites public to share their unique, creative and engaging stories through a recorded storytelling session. Our judging panel will choose outstanding submissions to win great prizes.

曾幾何時，亞洲協會香港中心召集了許多講故事的人，作家和教育工作者，來分享他們的故事。不同年齡的觀眾都聚集在一起聆聽他們說的故事，並向他們學習。
現在，由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金贊助，亞洲協會香港中心舉辦的「創意說書徵集活動」，邀請公眾以錄製方式分享他們獨特，創意和引人入勝的說書表演。我們的評審團將選出優秀的作品及贏得大獎！

1. Kids Storyteller 兒童說書人 | children aged 3-8 年齡3-8歲兒童
submission could be in a group of max. four members, or by an individual. 可以最多四名組員，或個人參加

​2. Junior Storyteller 少年說書人 | children aged 9-14 年齡9-14歲兒童
submission could be in a group of max. four members, or by an individual. 可以最多四名組員，或個人參加

​3. Open Group 公開組 | aged 15 or above. 年齡15歲或以上
submission could be in a group or max. four members, or by an individual. 可以最多四名組員，或個人參加

​4. Family Group 家庭組 | Each group must contain at least 1 child aged 14 or under, and 1 parent or legal guardian. 包括至少1名14歲或以下的兒童和1位家長或法定監護人。 
Max. 6 family members in one group. 每組不得超過六名家庭成員。 

-All Storytelling submissions can be conducted in English, Cantonese, or Putonghua.
-參加者可以英文、粵語，或普通話進行說書。

Book Genre and Theme 故事主旨及書籍選擇

All storytelling must be based on a published book that is written in English or Chinese. The choice of book can be in any genre: Wordless book, Picture book, Short story, Folktales & Fables, Poetry, and Information book. 

所有書本必須以已出版之英文或中文書籍參加。當中可選任何類型書籍：無字書、圖畫書、短篇故事、民間傳說及寓言、詩歌，或知識圖書。

The book should relate to one of the following themes: 
及以其中一個主題為故事主旨：

  • Honesty 誠實
  • Be Responsible 責任心
  • Respect the elderly 尊重長者
  • The joy of helping others 幫助他人的喜悅
  • Self-appreciation 自我欣賞 
  • Think positive 正向思想
  • Love our planet 愛護地球

Format of Entry 投稿格式
All submissions must be in video (MP4) or audio (MP3) format. It must not exceed 10 minutes. Only digital submissions are accepted. 
投稿作品必須為視頻（MP4）或音頻格式（MP3）。時間不得超過10分鐘。只接受數碼投稿。

Submission period: May 2021 – Oct 2021 投稿日期：2021年5月– 2021年10月 
All submissions will be posted on the website for public viewing.  
所有提交的內容將發佈在網站上以供公眾觀看。

Judging Panel 評審團
The judging panel includes educators from the Storytelling Masterclass, authors, and educators. 
評審團包括來自說書大師班導師，作家和教育工作者。 

Judging Criteria 評審標準
All submissions will be judged based on four criteria: (1) Delivery and Interpretation of the theme; (2) Creativity on storytelling; (3) Clarity in delivering the story/ content; (4) Intonation and deduction. 
所有投稿將根據以下四項進行評審：（1）故事主題的詮釋； （2）說書的創造力； （3）淸楚表達故事/ 書本內容；（4）語調及演繹
